This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover trial evaluated the efficacy of gentamicin in 15 children aged 5–15 years with bronchiectasis. As part of the study, lung function testing (FEV1, FVC, FEF25–75) was performed using the portable Vitalograph Compact II spirometer.
