Physical-activity trajectories during childhood and lung function at 15 years: Findings from the ALSPAC cohort

This study examined the association between physical activity trajectories between 11 and 15 years and lung function at 15 years in 2266 adolescents enrolled in the ALSPAC cohort. Lung function (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio, FEF25–75) was measured when participants were aged 8 and 15 years using a Vitalograph In2itive spirometer, with the assessment at 15 years undertaken before and after bronchodilation.
