FAQ

Yes. The In2itive may be used simply as a portable handheld spirometer or connected to a PC running Spirotrac software via the USB cable. Connection to a PC allows volume graph or flow curves to be viewed on the PC in real-time during testing.

Yes, however the Spirotrac software will need to be purchased as a package with the In2itive device or after purchase of the device.

Yes. Under the ‘Post’ mode, both VC and FVC testing can take place.

No. Integration to EMR will require purchase of the Spirotrac software.

In accordance with international spirometry standards and guidelines (ATS/ERS), you have the ability to perform a simple calibration verification routine prior to undertaking testing.

Running costs are low for In2itive as no expensive disposable sensors, turbines, adaptors or flow tubes are required. The simple, validated hygiene system using Bacterial Viral FiltersTM means that keeping the device clean is easy and inexpensive.

Yes. If a new BVF is used for every test subject and the In2itive is stored in a clean, dust free environment, then the device should require only surface cleaning using a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe. If you suspect that the micro has become contaminated, refer to the flowhead cleaning instructions.
