This dose-response study evaluated capsaicin-evoked cough responses and the discriminatory ability of novel cough endpoints in 93 healthy volunteers and 51 patients with refractory chronic cough. As part of the study, participants were fitted with the Vitalograph VitaloJAK ambulatory cough monitor for a period of 24 hours.
