Is Spirometry possible in 3 to 6 year old children with Cystic Fibrosis?

A recent study by Marostica P, et al. (2022) explored whether spirometry can be used on preschool children to assess lung function.

The study demonstrated that “spirometry can be used successfully to assess lung function in preschool children with CF and that measurement of the flow–volume curve has the potential to be used in the longitudinal assessment of lung function for patients with CF from infancy through adulthood”.
