Improvements in asthma control after pharmacist involvement in an outpatient pediatric asthma clinic

This study evaluated whether pharmacist visits led to a measurable difference in disease control in 16 asthmatic children aged 6–17 years enrolled at an outpatient primary care clinic. The primary endpoint was change in ACT or C-ACT score from baseline to the final study visit. Secondary endpoints included improvement in inhaler technique, measured using the Vitalograph AIM device.
