This study examined toxicant exposure, cardiovascular response, and the subjective effects of smoking two marketed e-cigarettes brands in 32 tobacco cigarette smokers, as compared with smoking the participants' preferred brand and with sham smoking. The concentration of expired carbon monoxide was measured using the Vitalograph BreathCO monitor.
