Assessment of pulmonary function test and its variability among different socio-demographic status of healthy school children of age group 9-17 years

This cross-sectional study examined variability in pulmonary function according to age, sex, height, and geographic background in 703 healthy school-aged children (9–17 years) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. During the study, lung function testing (FEV1, FEV6, FEV1/FEV6 ratio) was undertaken using the Vitalograph COPD-6 device.
