Identifying appropriate delivery of and referral to pulmonary rehabilitation in Uganda: A survey study of people living with chronic respiratory disease and health care workers

This cross-sectional study evaluated attitudes and opinions towards pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with chronic respiratory diseases in Kampala, Uganda, as well as barriers faced by healthcare workers in referring patients to pulmonary rehabilitation. The study was conducted in the form of two surveys that were completed by 30 healthcare workers and 51 adults with either post-tuberculosis lung disease or COPD that was diagnosed using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer with Spirotrac V software.
