Vitalograph Invests in the Future of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Education at UCC

At Vitalograph, we've always been committed to advancing respiratory health through innovation and education.

That's why we're incredibly proud to announce our philanthropic gift to University College Cork (UCC), supporting students in their postgraduate program in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. This investment reflects our dedication to improving the lives of individuals affected by allergic and immunological conditions.

Addressing a Growing Need

Allergies are on the rise. Currently, a significant 29% of the Irish population experiences allergies, with 15% facing complex issues requiring specialised care. These numbers are projected to increase, highlighting the urgent need for skilled healthcare professionals in this field.

Partnering with UCC to Make a Difference

Vitalograph's support for UCC's postgraduate program directly addresses this need. This program, the first of its kind in the EU, offers flexible online learning for healthcare professionals worldwide. It equips them with the essential training to diagnose, treat, and prevent a wide range of allergic and immunological conditions, including asthma, hay fever, and food allergies.

Our contribution will enable more healthcare professionals to access this specialized training, empowering them to provide better care for their patients. By supporting UCC's program, we're investing in a future where more individuals receive the expert allergy and clinical immunology care they deserve.

Peak Flow

Impact on Patient Lives

This initiative has the potential to set a new benchmark in professional education, ensuring that healthcare providers and caregivers are equipped to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals affected by asthma, allergy, and immunological conditions. This could further the enablement of:

  • Accurately diagnose allergic and immunological conditions.

  • Develop effective treatment plans.

  • Provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.

  • Ultimately improve the quality of life for those living with these conditions.
