Pulmonary Fibrosis, An Advocate’s Story

Teresa Barnes had never heard of Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) until several family members were tragically affected by it.

When her father was diagnosed, she decided to sidetrack her career in journalism. Teresa's journalistic skills have been poured into advancing care for, and awareness of PF.

She has served on multiple boards, including the American Thoracic Society, where she spearheaded numerous advocacy efforts. As part of the Executive Team for PF Warriors she navigates the PF community worldwide, seeking innovative solutions for treating pulmonary fibrosis.
