Comparative analysis of psychophysiological responses in fibromyalgia patients: Evaluating neuromodulation alone, neuromodulation combined with virtual reality, and exercise interventions

This randomized controlled study compared the effects of neuromodulation with or without a virtual reality protocol versus a physical exercise program in 89 female patients with fibromyalgia. Outcome measures of the study included lung function (FEV1, FEV6, FEV1/FEV6 ratio), which was assessed using a Vitalograph Asma-1 device.
