Impact of ambient particulate matter and meteorological factors on COPD risk and its association with blood eosinophilia

This case-control study investigated how short-term exposure to PM₂.₅, temperature and humidity influences COPD detection and severity, particularly in individuals with blood eosinophilia. The Vitalograph "Spirotrac V™ spirometer" was used to perform lung function testing, measuring FEV₁ and FVC to diagnose and classify COPD severity.
