The Vitalograph asma-1™ is a user friendly electronic respiratory monitor that measures PEF and FEV1 and links easily to other devices by USB for reporting. Ideal for monitoring PEF and FEV1 at home, work, in clinical trials, in primary or secondary care.
It offers greater accuracy than mechanical peak flow meters and eliminates the need for paper record cards.
Vitalograph Reports Software is included and allows you to product PDF reports.

Can I use a Bacterial Viral Filter (BVF) with the asma-1 USB?
AddA BVF is recommended to use if the asma-1 USB is intended for in clinic use. The plastic mouthpiece supplied with the device can be used where the device is intended for single-subject use. For subject groups with excessive sputum production, a BVF can be used to protect the device flowhead from exhaled particulate matter where this may be a concern.
What does the quality of blow indicator detect?
Add(!) appears after a blow if a cough is detected in the 1st second.
How do you clean the asma-1 USB?
AddIf a new BVF is used for every test and the asma-1 USB is stored in a clean, dust free environment, then the device should require only surface cleaning using a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe. Full instructions are available at 4000 Series Cleaning Instructions.
Can the asma-1 USB connect with my phone/tablet?
AddThe asma-1 USB connects to PC using the USB cable supplied.
