A novel approach to studying the relationship between subjective and objective measures of cough

Disease Areas:
Cough
Device Types:
VitaloJAK

This study assessed objective and subjective measures of cough, with and without an esophageal catheter, in 62 patients with chronic cough attending a specialist clinic. Subjective cough (daytime and night-time) was assessed using a numerical cough score and a visual analog scale ranging from 0 (no cough) to 100 (worst cough), while objective cough was assessed using the Vitalograph VitaloJAK cough monitor.
