Comparison of different nebulisation systems for capsaicin cough challenge testing

This study tested and compared cough responses to capsaicin delivered using two different nebulisation systems in 12 healthy volunteers with normal lung function and no history of chronic cough. The number of coughs induced following each test procedure was verified using the Vitalograph VitaloJAK cough monitor.
