Prediction of lung cancer with a sensor array based e-nose system using machine learning methods

Disease Areas:

Device Types:
BVF

This paper described the design and development of an artificial intelligence-based e-nose system for the detection of lung cancer. The system was fabricated with five volatile organic compound gas sensors, and was tested using expired air from 22 lung cancer patients and 40 healthy controls. The Vitalograph BVF was used as the system mouthpiece.
