Explore Engineering Showcase 2025
We were delighted to attend the Explore Engineering Showcase 2025, which was held on the 6th March in Shannon Airport! This year Explore Engineering Showcase celebrated its 10th year.
This annual event brings together students, educators, and industry professionals to celebrate innovation, creativity, and problem-solving in engineering.
Here's what our team thought of the evening:
“We attended Explore Engineering to showcase engineering to young people, get them interested in engineering and chat to them about future careers or college courses they could complete. The attendees seemed very interested in what we do as a company and the devices we had there. They had many questions about engineering and what it is that we do. They asked the engineers that were present about what courses they did and what a day in the life of an engineer looks like. It was a great event, and a fantastic opportunity to showcase us as a company, what we do and the importance of engineering in our field of work.” – Ciara Malone, Marketing Assistant
“The Explore Engineering showcase was a super opportunity to engage with second-level students and parents alike on engineering careers. It’s about raising awareness of the excellent opportunities that an engineering career can deliver. Our team at the showcase, and especially our engineers, did an amazing job in bringing engineering at Vitalograph to life. The look of wonder and curiosity on the faces of all those we spoke to confirmed again that what we do is exciting and impactful. An amazing event … I’m looking forward to 2026!” – Ambrose Downey, Chief People Officer
