Impact of lung function on cardiovascular diseases and cardiovascular risk factors

A study by Au Yeung SL, et al. (2021) using data from the UK Biobank, aimed to clarify the role of lung function in cardiovascular disease and whether there is evidence of reverse causation. [vital_featured_image] The study found that “Higher lung function likely reduces coronary artery disease and stroke risk, and there is little evidence suggesting reverse causation.” The Vitalograph Pneumotrac was used for lung function testing in the UK Biobank population study.
