Vitalograph introduces tremoflo® C-100 oscillometer to its extensive range of respiratory diagnostic solutions

23 May 2023: Vitalograph, a global leader in the development and production of respiratory diagnostic solutions and clinical trial services, has launched the Vitalograph tremoflo® C-100 at this year’s ATS International Conference, in Washington.

Developed in partnership with Thorasys, the Vitalograph tremoflo® C-100 oscillometer helps to detect the presence of small airway impairment, providing additional information to standard pulmonary function tests. It can aid in the diagnosis of asthma and COPD and can also help identify patients who are at risk of progression to COPD. [1]

The tremoflo® C-100 assesses respiratory function through simple tidal breathing and can be a valuable tool when compiling a detailed picture of respiratory function. It is particularly useful in enabling the very young, frail, or patients with a disability to perform respiratory assessments, as no forced maneuver is required.

Speaking of the new addition to the Vitalograph family of respiratory diagnostic solutions, Vice President of Global Marketing for Vitalograph, Ross Warner said: “The addition of oscillometry is an exciting complement to our existing range of diagnostic solutions. Technologically advanced solutions, such as the tremoflo® C-100, serve not only to help diagnose disease but to provide critical information about the severity of a condition, enabling care pathways to be more specific and effective in the long term.”

The tremoflo® C-100 oscillometer integrates fully with the Vitalograph Spirotrac® platform, where all relevant patient respiratory diagnostic data can be collated and managed seamlessly through one interface. This empowers Healthcare Professionals to view the complete clinical picture of respiratory health, including spirometry, FeNO, respiratory muscle strength, and oscillometry.

Designed for GP offices, Specialty Clinics, and bedside testing, the Vitalograph tremoflo® C-100 is easy to use and portable, enabling testing to be conducted wherever it is needed.
