Effect of in-utero exposure to air pollution on long-term respiratory conditions

This study examined the causal effect of exposure to air pollution in utero on respiratory health in adulthood, using data from 31,306 individuals enrolled in the UK Biobank. Lung function parameters (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio) were measured using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
