Influence of lung function on macro- and micro-structural brain changes in mid- and late-life

This study examined the relationship between lung function and structural macro and micro brain changes across the mid- to late-life period, based on data from 37,164 participants enrolled in the UK Biobank. Lung function was assessed using a composite of FEV1, FVC and PEF, which were measured using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
