First in vivo demonstration of nose-to-brain drug delivery of memantine using NosaPlugs nasal inserts

This in vivo study tested the feasibility of a novel nasal insert for the delivery of gaseous memantine. The drug was delivered to mice housed in an inhalation box, with the memantine concentration quantified based on the amount of drug captured on Vitalograph collection filters.
