Advantages and challenges of training of inhalation technique with the Vitalograph AIM device

This prospective study evaluated the effectiveness of inhaler technique training in patients with asthma or COPD. The Vitalograph AIM (Aerosol Inhalation Monitor) was used to assess inhalation technique, measure inspiratory flow, inhalation timing, actuation and breath-hold performance, and provide real-time feedback to improve inhaler use.
