Effect of traffic-related air pollution on cough in adults with polymorphisms in several cough-related genes

This randomized, double-blind, crossover study examined the relationship between genetic risk score based on cough-related SNPs and 24-hour cough count following exposure to diesel exhaust in 13 adult research participants. Cough count was objectively measured using the Vitalograph VitaloJAK cough monitor.
