This study evaluated the psychometric validity and measurement properties of the Severity of Chronic Cough Diary, the Leicester Cough Questionnaire, and a cough severity visual analog scale, using data from 310 patients who participated in a 12-week Phase 2b trial of eliapixant for the treatment of refractory chronic cough. The primary endpoint of the trial was the change from baseline in 24-hour cough count, which was measured using the Vitalograph VitaloJAK recording device.
