Examining cough's role and relief strategies in interstitial lung disease

This review provided an overview of cough in patients with ILD, including the importance of addressing cough as a significant symptom in this disease setting. Subjective and objective methods of quantifying cough were outlined, including the Vitalograph VitaloJAK, which was described as a "modern objective cough measuring [tool]" that is "primarily used in clinical trials to validate subjective cough measurements across various disease-specific cough conditions".
