Factors associated with infection by Pseudomonas aeruginosa in adult cystic fibrosis

This study examined the extent of and patient factors associated with cross-infection with Pseudomonas aeruginosa in in 227 adult patients with cystic fibrosis who were registered at a tertiary referral center in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Measures of disease impairment included FEV1, which was evaluated using the Vitalograph dry bellows spirometer.
