The CARMUCI study design: A double-blind, cross-over sham-controlled trial of indoor air purification in people with cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia

This paper describes the design of a randomized, double‐blind, cross‐over, sham-controlled trial that aims to evaluate the impact of indoor air purification on the respiratory health of children and adults with cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia. Baseline and follow‐up clinical assessments will include lung function (FEV1, FVC), which will be measured using a Vitalograph In2itive spirometer.
