This study evaluated the effects of a 30-minute nap on cognitive performance, short-term high-intensity performance, and mood following a night of partial sleep deprivation in 15 elite male athletes. As part of the study, lung function testing (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio, FEF25–75) was undertaken using a Vitalograph Micro spirometer.
