Does boredom increase impulsive choice in people who use cocaine?

This study examined the direct effects of induced boredom on impulsive choice in 41 users of cocaine aged 18–60 years, as compared with 38 matched community-based control subjects. As part of the study, self-reported drug use was verified using several methods, including measurement of breath CO using the Vitalograph BreathCO monitor.
