Effect of high-flow nasal therapy during early pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with severe AECOPD: A randomized controlled study

This study investigated the effects of high-flow nasal therapy during exercise training in an early pulmonary rehabilitation program in 44 patients hospitalized because of acute exacerbation of COPD. Endpoints of interest included hospitalization time, symptoms, exercise tolerance, QoL, and functionality. Pulmonary function parameters were assessed using the Vitalograph Spirotrac V software.
