Risk factors in the Midspan family study by social class in childhood and adulthood

This study investigated the effects of social class in childhood, adulthood, and social mobility on sociological, behavioral and clinical risk factors in 2338 adults in the United Kingdom. As part of a screening examination, each participant's FEV1 was measured using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer with Spirotrac software.
