Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease prevalence and associated factors in an urban HIV clinic in a low income country

This cross-sectional study examined the burden of COPD and associated factors in 288 patients aged ≥30 years enrolled at an urban tertiary HIV clinic in Uganda. COPD was diagnosed based on the results of lung function testing, which was undertaken using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer with Spirotrac software.
