Compartmental nutritional status and respiratory muscle function assessment in subjects with neuromuscular diseases

This cross-sectional study evaluated the relationship between nutritional/respiratory status and respiratory muscle weakness in 70 patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. As part of the study, FVC was measured using the Vitalograph Compact II spirometer.
