Development and validation of a simple general population lung cancer risk model including AHRR-methylation

This study aimed to develop and validate a model for predicting the 10-year risk of lung cancer in more than 10,500 former or current smokers who participated in the 1991–1994 and 2001–2003 follow-up examinations of the Copenhagen City Heart Study. Risk factors for the model included pulmonary function (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio), which was measured using the Vitalograph dry wedge spirometer.
