Different metrics (number, surface area, and volume concentration) of urban particles with varying sizes in relation to fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO)

This study examined various metrics related to urban ambient air particles (number, surface area, active surface area, volume concentration) in relation to FeNO in 17 non-asthmatic children in Beijing, China. Measurement of lung function (FEV1, FVC) was also undertaken using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
