Protocol for a feasibility trial to inform the development of a breathlessness rehabilitation programme for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and chronic heart failure (the COHERE trial)

This paper described the design of a feasibility trial intended to inform the development of a breathlessness rehabilitation program for COPD and chronic heart failure. Collected data will include body composition, physical function, frailty, cardiometabolic health, respiratory health, symptoms and psychosocial health, and objectively measured and self-reported physical activity. Lung function will be assessed using a calibrated Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
