Resting energy expenditure in adults with Becker's muscular dystrophy

This study investigated resting energy expenditure in 21 adult males with Becker's muscular dystrophy, as compared with 12 healthy age-matched control subjects. Lung function testing (FEV1, FVC, FVC/FEV1 ratio) was undertaken using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac digital spirometer with Spirotrac software.
