Retrospective study of the impact of SARS-CoV-2 infection on asthma control in children

This retrospective study examined how infection with SARS-CoV-2 influenced the long-term symptoms and treatment of 149 children with asthma who attended regular monitoring visits during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. During the study, lung function parameters were measured using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio, PEF, FEF25–75) and the NIOX VERO analyzer (FeNO).
