This study assessed immunological and respiratory health changes associated with short-term exposure to traffic-related microplastics and nanoplastics in 23 healthy young adults. Health assessments included lung function testing (FEV1, PEF), which was performed using a Vitalograph Asma-1 electronic respiratory monitor.
