The In2itive™ delivers detailed point-of-care spirometry that is compliant with ATS/ERS 2019 Technical Standards for accuracy and test quality.
Ideal for use throughout secondary care, the In2itive has an easy-to-navigate interface and can store more than 10,000 tests. Its robust, detachable flowhead is suited to a variety of testing scenarios. A large touch screen enables the clinician to actively coach the patient during testing and to give real-time feedback on effort and test quality.
Bi-directional EMR connectivity continuously synchronises respiratory assessment needs and spirometry results, to maximise the efficiency of healthcare decisions.

FAQs
Is the In2itive both a portable spirometer AND a PC based spirometer?
AddYes. The In2itive may be used simply as a portable handheld spirometer or connected to a PC running Spirotrac software via the USB cable. Connection to a PC allows volume graph or flow curves to be viewed on the PC in real-time during testing.
Can I perform bronchodilator responsiveness testing on a VC session as well as a post FVC session?
AddYes. Under the ‘Post’ mode, both VC and FVC testing can take place.
Do I need to perform a calibration check of the spirometer every day?
AddIn accordance with international spirometry standards (ATS/ERS 2019 Technical Standards and ARTP), you have the ability to perform a simple calibration verification routine prior to undertaking testing.
What are the running costs for the In2itive?
AddRunning costs are low for In2itive as no expensive disposable sensors, turbines, adaptors or flow tubes are required. The simple, validated hygiene system using Bacterial Viral Filters means that keeping the device clean is easy and inexpensive.
Can I clean the flowhead of the In2itive?
AddYes. If a new BVF is used for every test subject and the In2itive is stored in a clean, dust free environment, then the device should require only surface cleaning using a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe. If you suspect that the micro has become contaminated, refer to our flowhead cleaning instructions.
