This integrated cross-sectional study examined the association between blood eosinophil count and lung function across multi-ethnic populations. The study employed data from individuals from three cohorts, including 428,610 participants in the UK Biobank. Lung function assessment in the UK Biobank required two acceptable maneuvers with ≤5% variability in the FEV1/FVC ratio, as measured using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
