This randomized, controlled, double-blind study compared the efficacy of a low intensity versus a high intensity inspiratory muscle training protocol in 27 institutionalized adults with cerebral palsy. A secondary outcome of the study was change in pulmonary function (FEV1, PEF), which was assessed using a Vitalograph Asma-1 peak flow device.
