HeartFEV1: A mobile electrocardiogram based system for inferring forced expiratory volume in one second from patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

This thesis described the outcomes of a study evaluating the feasibility of a novel, mobile ECG-based system for inferring FEV1 in 25 patients with COPD. As part of the study, true FEV1 and FVC values were measured using a Vitalograph spirometer with Spirotrac software.
