Measuring congestion with a non-invasive monitoring device in heart failure and haemodialysis: CONGEST-HF

This prospective, observational study examined the effectiveness of a novel cardiopulmonary wearable sensor for detecting and measuring congestion in cohorts of patients with heart failure and end-stage renal disease. As part of the study, patients underwent various clinical assessments, including bedside measurement of tidal volume using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
