Organic dust toxic syndrome at a grass seed plant caused by exposure to high concentrations of bioaerosols

This study examined the association between exposure to a particularly dusty lot of seeds and the development of organic dust toxic syndrome in 12 workers at a Danish grass seed plant. In-hospital lung function testing (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio, PEF) was undertaken using a Vitalograph wedge bellows spirometer.
