Right inferior frontal gyrus theta-burst stimulation reduces smoking behaviors and strengthens fronto-striatal-limbic resting-state functional connectivity: A randomized crossover trial

Disease Areas:
Smoking cessation
Device Types:
BreathCO

This double-blind, randomized, crossover study examined effects of neuromodulation of the right inferior frontal gyrus on smoking behavior in 31 nicotine-dependent adults. To be eligible for inclusion participants were required to have a breath carbon monoxide level of ≥10 ppm, as measured using the Vitalograph BreathCO monitor.
