Vocal fold vibratory dose and perceived exertion responses to the Fluid Interval Test for Voice (FIT-V): A novel vocal loading task platform

This study examined vocal fold vibratory dose and perceived phonatory exertion during three different 30-minute vocal loading tasks in 30 subjects. Study participants completed a training session during which lung function parameters were assessed (FEV1, FVC, PEF) using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
