Comparison of pneumotachometer and portable digital turbine spirometry for field-based assessment: An air quality, environment, and respiratory outcomes in bronchopulmonary dysplasia study

Friday, December 1st, 2023

This cross-sectional, field-based analysis evaluated the use of remote spirometry in 21 pediatric patients aged 6–12 years with a history of bronchopulmonary dysplasia. The study compared same-day paired spirometric maneuvers collected in a home-based setting using either a portable turbine-based spirometer or the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
